Westinghouse produced Ivrolite and later General Electric manufactured a similar product with there proprietary brand, Textolite.
The exterior of this material has a wonderfully toasted marshmallow color while the interior maintains the silky White Ivory color that is so desirable.
GE originally produced this to be used as circuit board material so it has a thin layer of copper covering one side, this can be easily removed with a grinder, or used to enhance your project.
General Electric lightly
stamped the surface of Textolite with a capital "T" this can be easily polish off to reveal be uniquely aged yellow patina that we love, or left visible to maintain the provenance and origin of the material.
